Happy Thanksgiving
Howdy boys and girls,
Only one day left till thanksgiving. Sveta and Tamuna should be leaving their house in just a few minutes to head up to Connecticut to spend the holiday with us. We are pretty excited.
Last night we went to do a little shopping to get ready for the big turkey dinner. We went to the HomeGoods store (www.homegoods.com) first which has all kinds of cool kitchen stuff and seasonal decorating items. Since we have a pretty big turkey this year (19 lbs), we decided to pick up a new 18 inch roasting pan. We also got a really nice knife set and a new blender. Afterwards we went over to Bed Bath and Beyond and picked up a new tablecloth for our dining room. The tablecloth is a golden color, so it goes well with our furnature and the martini olive colored paint. What else did we buy... oh yes, we found some really neat pine cones that are cinnamon scented, so our house smells like cinnamon all over :-)
Maka just left for work about 30 minutes ago, so I'm just getting ready to go do some food shopping. It's pretty cold outside today. In fact, this morning there was some snow coming down, but not enough to accumulate on the ground. I hear we are supposed to get some more snow tomorrow on Thanksgiving day.
Is anyone else doing anything for Thanksgiving this year (yes, I know it's an American Holiday). The reason I ask is because Maka had some visitors from Denmark stay with us for a few days back in Sept, and they said they do the whole Thanksgiving thing at their place (turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, etc.). Christmas is right around the corner as well. Anyone have any special plans? Yonathan/Cynth - what's everyone doing in Malta this year? You guys all get together with the family?
Ok well I better get back to putting together my shopping list.
Oh yes, before I forget... check out this page when you have some free time. It's called The Onion and they have some really funny articles. www.theonion.com

Hello :)
Hi boys and dolls :-) I miss you all. Thank you for your kind wishes.
My job title is International Assignment Consultant. I am going to be helping relocate client's employees from one place to another, internationally. I am really excited.
I may start on Nov 21st. Will know more details once I get the actual offer paper. Right now I got offer over the phone.
I am now in Charlottesviile. Drove yesterday to pick up my mother. It's so much warmer here compared to Connecticut. I just realized how much I have missed Virginia. Jonathan, Cynthia, next time you come we can do a tour de America ;-)
what else is new? Not much. Just that I miss all of you and hope to see you sometime soon.
love,
Maka
